What is Dental Decay ?

Have you ever seen a black hole or a black portion on any of your teeth ?

Well most likely that’s a decay.

A Decay is a damage to the tooth caused by the bacteria. It is commonly referred to as Cavity. In scientific terms it is called as Dental Caries.

If not treated the decay may cause – pain, swelling, foul odor or even a tooth fracture.
